Figueira Beach Rugby is about much more than just playing Beach Rugby on the Beach. Every summer hundreds of players (around 850) travel to Figueira from many different nations, like Spain, USA, Germany, Italy, Dubai, Belgium, Scotland, Holland, France, England , San Marino … to experience what makes our sport unique…. the friendship, camaraderie and good vibes amongst everyone involved in the event. Smiles are in everyone´s faces and every game is a new opportunity to make new friends!
In Figueira you will meet people from all-around the World, imagine hundreds of Ruggers all together in the same city, playing rugby, talking the same ‘rugby language’ and having fun… responsible fun.
All of this is available on a peaceful but dynamic and fun country like Portugal. With large beaches, nice and open-minded people and a good taste for rugby, the beach rugby festival is a fantastic place to visit and play at.
